Tenant Insurance

Life can be expensive. Most of us, as we go through life, begin to acquire things, sometimes many things, sometimes costly things. What if the unthinkable happens? What if you belongings are lost due to water, fire or theft? If you’re just starting out could you afford to replace all of your personal possessions tomorrow? Tenant Insurance allows you to replace what you had, in most cases with brand new items. At Campbell & Haliburton, myCH, we help you protect what is important to you.

How Much Insurance Do I Need?

For many of us knowing the amount of insurance can be a little overwhelming. We have a tenant inventory checklist that helps to take the guesswork out of how much you need. Many insurance companies provide a minimum of $30,000 of contents coverage. You can increase this amount as needed.

What Kind of Insurance Do I Need?

Tenant insurance packages are not one size fits all. We all have different needs and different budgets. At Campbell & Haliburton, myCH, we will help you figure out the best insurance for you.  Confused by terms like Broad From, or Comprehensive Insurance?  Not to worry, we’ll explain this to you in ways that make sense and you can understand.  Plain talk – not insurance speak.

The Fine Print

This is a summary.  All tenant insurance policies contain terms, limitations and differences.  We understand them, and we’ll walk through them with you.  For all of these coverages there are limitations and exclusions.  And in all cases the actual insurance policy wording is what will be used in the event of a claim.  While we are not writing each and every exclusion here, we do have the wordings and will make sure that you are not just given a copy of the them but also that they’re explained to you before you purchase, and more importantly before there is a claim.
